The concepts of UX (User Experience<\/strong>) andUI (User Interface<\/strong>), contrary to what one might think, are elements that do not only pertain to the sphere of technology. In fact, they can be found in everyday life<\/strong> as well. <\/p>\n\n

Whenever we happen to interact with an object<\/strong>, be it a physical or digital product, we inevitably experience certain feelings<\/strong> toward it.<\/p>\n\n

Such perceptions arise from the way<\/strong> the product<\/strong> is designed<\/strong>, influence<\/strong> our state of mind<\/strong> and especially our attitude<\/strong> toward the element itself.<\/p>\n\n

This makes us realize how important it is to study UX and UI thoroughly to ensure<\/strong> that the product<\/strong> delivered to our Client<\/strong> is perceived as efficient<\/strong>, functional<\/strong>, and pleasant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Specifically, Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong> incorporates the concepts of UX<\/strong> and UI<\/strong> into its work as a web agency<\/strong><\/a>, applying them from the perspective of web marketing<\/strong><\/a> and within the realization of websites<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

What is User Experience<\/h2>\n\n

User Experience <\/strong>can be defined as theoverall experience of a user<\/strong> interacting <\/strong>with a website.<\/p>\n\n

As anticipated, from this interaction arise personal<\/strong> and subjective<\/strong> perceptions<\/strong> that form the basis of our judgment toward the company, its products, or the service it offers<\/p>\n\n

The realization of an optimal UX<\/strong> goes through 2 elements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

  1. the User Experience Research<\/strong>: in this preliminary phase, users<\/strong> are actively involved<\/strong>, and they are observed <\/strong>and interviewed<\/strong> in experimental activities and during interaction with the object of study.In order to achieve good UX, it is essential that this observation is not exhausted in the early stages of the project.For this reason, thesurvey<\/strong> through users must be performed repeatedly<\/strong>, even once the website is considered finished. In this way, we are able to continuously collect data that is useful for the continuous improvement<\/strong> of the user experience.This is because the contexts of <\/strong>product use <\/strong>and especially the needs of <\/strong>users are constantly changing<\/strong> and evolving<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. the User Experience Design<\/strong>: this phase can be defined as the operational moment<\/strong>, where the indications that emerged in the research phase are put into practice.Within the scope of UX Design, User Interface Design<\/strong> is also encapsulated, which we discuss in depth in the next sections.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Simply put, it is the discipline closest to the graphic design<\/strong><\/a>, where theelement of interaction between <\/strong>user and company is concretely designed <\/strong>: the website<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

    User Experience and Usability<\/h3>\n\n

    There is often a tendency to confuse the concept of User Experience<\/strong> with that of Usability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

    When we talk about Usability we refer to theefficiency<\/strong> and ease<\/strong> in using a product, which must be intuitive<\/strong> and functional<\/strong> for the purposes for which it was designed.<\/p>\n\n

    In this sense,Usability<\/strong> represents only one facet <\/strong>of UX<\/strong> that encompasses every aspect of experience, including emotions and feelings.<\/p>\n\n

    Undoubtedly, making a site usable<\/strong> constitutes the first step<\/strong> on which to base a fulfilling User Experience. In fact, a user who fails to use a site with ease and fails to achieve the purpose for which he or she is visiting it will most likely abandon it and not return. <\/p>\n\n

    By definition, the User Interface<\/strong> is the contact element between the user and the product.<\/p>\n\n

    When it comes to web design<\/strong>, the UI actually represents theinterface of<\/strong> the site where the user has the ability to navigate.<\/p>\n\n
