As was mentioned earlier Joomla! Lombardy deals with spreading awareness of the well-known CMS<\/strong> Joomla! <\/strong>But what is it? Joomla! is a CMS (Content Management System) for the creation of websites. Through this software and thanks to its simple graphical interface<\/strong> you can manage, display and insert multimedia and textual information. <\/p>\n\n

Joomla! is an intuitive platform<\/strong> with which it is possible to create<\/strong> and publish websites<\/strong>. In fact, without writing or modifying any lines of code<\/strong>, users can publish content without difficulty. In addition to this, being free<\/strong> and open source<\/strong> it is freely modifiable by users. In fact, thanks to their skills or by using specialized marketing agencies they can shape their website. <\/p>\n\n

Overall, no specific computer knowledge is needed for basic settings, just a lot of curiosity and desire to experience the potential of Joomla! to join the great network of the internet!<\/p>\n\n

Joomla! Lombardy: a Social Utility Association <\/h2>\n\n

In addition to being an association, Joomla! Lombardy is first and foremost a group of people<\/strong>.In fact, thanks to the cooperation and support of volunteers<\/strong> and teachers<\/strong>, who are also members<\/strong>, Joomla! Lombardy or“JL<\/strong>!” continues to grow and promote awareness of Joomla! <\/p>\n\n

But how does one become a member and what do they do?<\/p>\n\n

First of all, who are the members <\/strong>of Joomla! Lombardy? Members are divided into volunteers<\/strong>, teachers<\/strong> and ordinary members<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Joomla! Lombardy volunteers <\/strong>are the allies of the organization<\/strong>. In fact, they offer their time and skills fororganizing<\/strong> events<\/strong>, writing texts<\/strong>, promoting on social networks<\/strong>, and managing<\/strong> and maintaining the Joomla! Lombardy website<\/strong>.Why become a volunteer? It is aneducational opportunity<\/strong>, <\/strong>also for unemployed people, which gives the opportunity to participate in free training courses<\/strong> in order to learn or improve one’s knowledge about the CMS Joomla! or all topics of communication <\/strong>and the Internet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Then we have the teachers<\/strong> of Joomla! Lombardy. They, too, offer their time and, above all, their knowledge and skills for theorganization<\/strong> and management<\/strong> of courses<\/strong>, workshops<\/strong> and seminars<\/strong>. It is thanks to them that Joomla! Lombardy can spread the knowledge of Joomla! and all the subjects related to it. <\/p>\n\n
