However, to those unfamiliar with the <strong>online<\/strong> world, the contents of the page may seem almost incomprehensible. In the new text it is stated that this medium must have within it certain <strong>mandatory information<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>brief information<\/strong> notice, to inform the user about the use of data collection systems and the purposes for which this information will be used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>link to the cookie policy<\/strong>, i.e., the page explaining whether data is also disclosed to other parties, how long it will be kept, and any rights you may have<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An unambiguous <strong>indication<\/strong> that, through acceptance, the user is giving <strong>consent to profiling<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>link<\/strong> to the section where the visitor can choose the purposes for which his or her data may be stored<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>button to accept<\/strong> both cookies and tracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>button to reject<\/strong> both<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Still on the subject of banners, the new regulations emphasize that <strong>after the first visit<\/strong>, its <strong>presence<\/strong> is no longer <strong>required<\/strong> when the <strong>website<\/strong> loads. At any time, however, the user must always <strong>be able to access the<\/strong> platform&#8217;s <strong>privacy policy and cookie policy<\/strong> to <strong>change his or her preferences.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Statistical cookies in the new regulation 2021<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/i-cookie-statistici-nella-nuova-normativa-2021.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-292732\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/i-cookie-statistici-nella-nuova-normativa-2021.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/i-cookie-statistici-nella-nuova-normativa-2021-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/i-cookie-statistici-nella-nuova-normativa-2021-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The <strong>statistical cookies<\/strong> covered by the <strong>new 2021 regulations<\/strong> are of <strong>2 types<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <strong>technical<\/strong> ones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>those of <strong>profiling<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>For both &#8211; and, if you don&#8217;t know the differences, we suggest you read our guide in which we explain in detail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/en\/what-are-cookies-on-the-internet-what-they-are-used-for-and-what-types-exist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>what cookies are on the Internet<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; <strong>first-party<\/strong> statistical cookies can be installed <strong>without the<\/strong> user&#8217;s <strong>consent.<\/strong> Conversely, <strong>third-party<\/strong> statistical cookies always require<strong>express acceptance<\/strong>, <strong>except<\/strong> where: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are not likely to identify a <strong>precise user<\/strong>, but only <strong>generic characteristics<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>their <strong>use<\/strong> is <strong>restricted<\/strong> to <strong>a single site or a single app<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>data<\/strong> collected are not disclosed to<strong> third parties<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The collection of consent: what the new cookie regulations require<\/h3>\n\n<p>About the<strong> collection of consent<\/strong>, we can summarize the <strong>new cookie regulation<\/strong> in <strong>two basic points<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The fact that a user <strong>scrolls through the pages of your digital space<\/strong> cannot be seen as having received <strong>consent<\/strong> to retain his or her information, unless this action is <strong>unequivocal testimony<\/strong> to his or her willingness to give permission<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cookie walls<\/strong> (i.e., a mode often used in the past to prevent the visitor from browsing the portal in case of non-acceptance to data collection) are to be considered <strong>illegal<\/strong>. There are only a few <strong>exceptions<\/strong> that must be evaluated on a <strong>case-by-case<\/strong> basis with an expert <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Two other aspects<\/strong> touched on in the new text include:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cookie <strong>consent preferences<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong> proof of consent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"preferenze\">Cookie consent preferences<\/h4>\n\n<p>Once a user has expressed his or her <strong>consent preferences<\/strong>, these should be <strong>requested<\/strong> again only if:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <strong>conditions<\/strong> of acceptance are <strong>changed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the platform does not have ways of <strong>storing<\/strong> consent that has already been obtained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the last acquisition was <strong>more than six months ago<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"prova\">Last post: proof of consent for the site owner<\/h4>\n\n<p>The last crucial point concerns <strong>proof of consent<\/strong>.
