{"id":288458,"date":"2025-07-23T08:00:55","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T06:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/?p=288458"},"modified":"2025-07-23T10:05:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T08:05:41","slug":"isola-becomes-2025-case-study-for-economics-and-management-students-at-milan-bicocca-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.isoladicomunicazione.com\/en\/isola-becomes-2025-case-study-for-economics-and-management-students-at-milan-bicocca-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Isola becomes 2025 case study for economics and management students at Milan Bicocca University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our web agency, <strong>Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong>, became a <strong>case study<\/strong> within a university project, thanks to the selection of a group of female students from the <strong>Economics and Management<\/strong> course at the<strong>University of Milan-Bicocca.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><em>We thank <strong>Erika Cerizza, Francesca Gordon, Meixin Lin, and Hanane Aidoudi<\/strong> for their interest and attention to our work-it is a pleasure to be part of your journey.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Make IT a Case: the educational journey that led to Isola&#8217;s selection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The project work aimed to identify and analyze <strong>Italian<\/strong> <strong>startups<\/strong> and <strong>SMEs<\/strong> that stood out for <strong>innovation<\/strong>, <strong>corporate values<\/strong>, and <strong>growth strategy<\/strong>, with the possibility for selected cases to enter the national competition <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/societaitalianamanagement.it\/make-it-a-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Make IT a Case<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>criteria<\/strong> dictated by the educational project for students&#8217; choice of companies were based on a few <strong>key principles<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Focus on innovation and sustainability<\/strong>, paying special attention to the digital and energy transition (with reference to the goals of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mase.gov.it\/portale\/l-agenda-2030-e-il-contesto-internazionale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agenda 2030<\/a><\/strong>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a<strong>multidisciplinary analysis<\/strong> including business strategy, management, marketing and economic\/financial aspects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>enhancement of local realities<\/strong>, often little known but with high potential;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>attention to inclusiveness<\/strong> and <strong>gender equality<\/strong>, assessing both the presence of women within the corporate workforce and whether women are leading or managing entrepreneurship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Starting from this context, we were chosen as a company in line with the values and objectives of the project: in fact, <strong>Isola <\/strong>is a reality capable not only of combining strategy, <strong>communication<\/strong> and <strong>creativity<\/strong> but also of generating a <strong>positive impact<\/strong>, thus becoming a <strong>point of reference<\/strong> for the students&#8217; academic path.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Isola di Comunicazione&#8217;s values as a university case study<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p id=\"cambiamenti\">The reasons behind choosing <strong>Isola<\/strong> di <strong>Comunicazione<\/strong> as the <strong>communications agency<\/strong> to analyze for these students&#8217; educational project are the main <strong>elements<\/strong> and <strong>values<\/strong> that define <strong>our identity<\/strong>, <strong>strategy<\/strong>, and <strong>approach to the digital market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>In particular:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#percorso-di-crescita\">A <strong>path of continuous growth <\/strong>over the years and <strong>reliable<\/strong>, based on strategic choices and concrete results that last over time<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#integrazione\">The<strong>integration of technological innovation and human sensitivity<\/strong> to ensure a comprehensive approach to communication management<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"percorso-di-crescita\"><a href=\"#ambiente-inclusivo\">Our commitment to ensuring an <strong>inclusive<\/strong>, <strong>safe<\/strong> and <strong>sustainable<\/strong> <strong>work environment<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#approccio-lavorativo\">The<strong>working approach<\/strong> by which we build <strong>strong relationships<\/strong> with our clients through <strong>strategy<\/strong> and <strong>data<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solid and steady growth<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Founded in <strong>2012<\/strong> by our founder <strong>Lorenzo Zesi<\/strong>, <strong>Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong> has pursued a path of <strong>steady<\/strong> growth from micro to small business. One of our major milestones has been <strong>Google Premier Partner 2025<\/strong> certification: <strong> <\/strong>recognition that places us in the top <strong>3%<\/strong> of the <strong>best performing<\/strong> communication agencies nationwide. This title reflects both the <strong>quality of<\/strong> the services we offer and our<strong> ability to innovate<\/strong> and adapt to technological innovations, always keeping customer satisfaction as the central pivot of our operations. <\/p>\n\n<p id=\"integrazione\">The students emphasized how this achievement is a tangible sign of our <strong>professionalism<\/strong> toward the client and our effectiveness in managing <strong>performance marketing<\/strong> campaigns, <strong>strategic consulting<\/strong> and <strong>website implementation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Integration of technological innovation and human sensitivity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>At <strong>Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong> we make use of <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> and <strong>advanced tools<\/strong> to optimize work processes and increase the efficiency of our team. However, we are aware that technology <strong>cannot replace human beings<\/strong>, especially in a field like <strong>communication<\/strong>, where <strong>empathy<\/strong>, <strong>intuition<\/strong>, and the <strong>ability to interpret<\/strong> are crucial. <\/p>\n\n<p id=\"ambiente-inclusivo\">Precisely in this regard, our founder <strong>Lorenzo Zesi<\/strong> emphasizes, in the interview he gave for the project, how the ability to read <strong>conversations<\/strong>, <strong>gestures<\/strong> and <strong>movements<\/strong>, in a true <strong>semiotics of communication<\/strong>, represents an <strong>exclusive<\/strong> and <strong>inimitable<\/strong> value of people. This <strong>balance<\/strong> between <strong>technology<\/strong> and <strong>humanity<\/strong> was a distinctive factor that struck the students, highlighting our ability to <strong>innovate<\/strong> without losing touch with the <strong>most human aspects<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Inclusive, safe and sustainable work environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong> &#8216;s <strong>corporate culture<\/strong> turns out to be an additional reason for the university project. In fact, our <strong>team<\/strong> is <strong>young<\/strong>, <strong>dynamic <\/strong>and <strong>composed of about 70 percent women<\/strong>, which is significant in terms of <strong>gender equality<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p id=\"approccio-lavorativo\">In addition, we promote a <strong>work environment<\/strong> based on <strong>motivation<\/strong>, <strong>meritocracy<\/strong>, and <strong>work-life balance<\/strong>. Through <strong>smart working<\/strong> policies, <strong>corporate welfare <\/strong>, and the potential future design of an <strong>in-house nursery<\/strong>, we invest in the <strong>well-being of our employees<\/strong> to ensure <strong>stability<\/strong> and <strong>satisfaction<\/strong> in an increasingly <strong>fast-paced<\/strong> and <strong>competitive<\/strong> work environment. This, not only impressed the students positively, but also falls within the values and criteria of the &#8220;<strong>Make IT a Case<\/strong>&#8221; project, which aims to enhance all-around <strong>responsible<\/strong> and <strong>sustainable<\/strong> businesses.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Data-supported strategies for strong customer relationships<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>From a strategic point of view, <strong>Isola di Comunicazione<\/strong> is distinguished by a &#8220;<strong>lean<\/strong>&#8221; organizational structure, which allows for <strong>rapid decision-making<\/strong> and <strong>adaptability<\/strong> to every need, all in a <strong>creative<\/strong>, <strong>flexible<\/strong> environment accompanied by an &#8220;<strong>open door<\/strong>&#8221; policy.<\/p>\n\n<p>Another distinctive feature of <strong>Isola<\/strong> is our ability to <strong>build customer loyalty<\/strong>, which stems from constant <strong>monitoring<\/strong> and <strong>optimization<\/strong> work, supported by <strong>reading data<\/strong> and <strong>measurements<\/strong>, as well as<strong>consulting activities<\/strong> that put the <strong>needs<\/strong> of each company at the center.
