Goals

Vertical Be is a talent management agency specializing in influencer marketing for the beauty industry. The core of their business is creating strategic connections between content creators in the cosmetics world with top brands.

The request for this project consisted of:

  • Create a unique and distinctivevisual identity
  • Develop a logo that would best represent the values and essence of the start-up company
  • define an aesthetic mood that was in line with the target audience, reflecting the trends and standards of both the beauty world and influencer marketing agencies.

In this brand design project, the goal was to create an impactful visual identity that would capture the essence of Vertical Be: an agency representing digital creators in the beauty, skincare, and haircare industries. The intent was to attract premium brands eager to collaborate with high-profile influencers.

The brief challenged us to develop an image that was both stylish, modern and in step with the latest trends in the industry.

We worked to combine the concept of beauty with a dynamic and distinctive presence. We built a visual image from the provided references, capable of reflecting the evolution of the industry and attracting the interest of high-end brands.

The project development process consisted of the following operational steps:

Business and industry analysis

Before designing Vertical Be’s logo, we conducted a thorough analysis of the brand and its competitive environment.

This first step allowed us to identify the key elements for effective visual communication, ensuring that the logo was aligned with brand goals and market needs.

Definition of values and identity

We analyzed the company’s mission and vision and translated them into a contemporary, digital visual language with a strong connection to the beauty industry and a sense of dynamism, perfect for the influencer marketing context.

Mood and logo design

For the logo design, we have:

  • Adopted a modern, minimalist mood with clean lines and intersecting geometric shapes
  • Chose Coolvetica typography, which ensures a strong and elegant visual impact.
  • Limited the color palette to black and white, ensuring a highly versatile aesthetic.
  • Developed the logo in positive and negative for maximum adaptability on different backgrounds.

Development of sketches and mock-ups

Finally, we developed sketches and mock-ups to test different options and applications.
The first sketches allowed us to explore compositions and stylistic approaches. While the mock-ups showed how the visual identity would fit into packaging, social media, website, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency in each context.
