The Penelope Lombardia association is made up of volunteers who offer their help free of charge. With this goal, the Penelope committee gathers around itself families who are grief-stricken by the disappearance of a loved one. In addition to this, it actively cooperates with the well-known TV program“Chi l’ha Visto?”
In particular, we were required to have a new cutting-edge site with impactful but not too crude images so as not to hurt people’s sensibilities.
In fact, Penelope Lombardia already had a site but it was not up to date. Because it was not responsive and had outdated graphics.

We have created a section completely dedicated to those who wish to support the association, guiding them through the correct procedure to become a supporter.
The association website consists of separate pages, each with a well-defined task.
To begin with we find the About Us page, which is designed to introduce the association. In fact, its objectives and birth are specified. In addition to this, the lawyers who collaborate with Penelope Lombardia are presented.
Next is the What We Do page, which is designed to delve deeper into projects and to give visitors the opportunity to download the bylaws in pdf format.
After that came the Missing and Found page, which was created with the purpose of offering a list of missing and found person files.
Next is the Support Us page, which contains a contact form useful for inviting and collecting applications for those who want to take part in the project and help the association.
Then the Articles page is divided into three sections, “Blog,” “News,” and “They Say About Us,” which is very useful for staying up-to-date.

The website for association was created through the WordPress platform. We created a website set to specific requirements of the non-profit organization Penelope Lombardia through the use of a modified professional theme.
In fact, very useful blogging and fundraising functions have been added for this association.
In summary what we did was redesign the website for the Penelope association from scratch. By studying ad hoc graphics, refocusing on Penelope’s goals and clarifying to users the purpose of the site. In fact, we created a section dedicated to the disappeared and carried out a graphic study of new colors to give a feeling of peace and hope.
