Website for ODV Volunteer Organization AISA Lombardy

Our team created the website for ODV Organizzazione di Volontariato AISA Lombardia in a project to reposition its image from the national website.

AISA organizes events and projects located throughout Italy with the aim of raising awareness and collecting donations to fund research for ataxic syndromes. Not only that: the ODV also serves as a necessary support for patients and family members who, after diagnosis, must embark on an impervious and unknown path.

In order to succeed, the Association operates through regional sections that are able to act in a more targeted manner within their own borders due to their greater knowledge of the area.

AISA Lombardy turned to our experts to create its own website that was:

  • Witness the transparency and passion of all volunteers
  • an effective communication tool to get in touch with all stakeholders.

The creation of the website for ODV AISA Lombardia

The whole team at Isola di Comunicazione was immediately passionate about AISA‘s activities. As soon as the president told us about their wonderful initiatives, we did not hesitate and immediately set to work to bring the new digital space of the Lombard section to life.

Our first interest was to bring a totally new approach starting with the slogan of the Regional Association: the beauty of being together. Such a powerful and positive claim convinced us to convey concepts of trust and hope through all graphics, images, videos and texts.

We wanted to propose a graphic and textual reworking that was airy, smiling and fresh. In this way, we wanted to associate the important issues of AISA with the idea of lightness and total confidence in research. In fact, this is the only means that will allow finding new and concrete solutions that will make the lives of patients and their families easier.

The website structure for AISA Lombardy designed by. Isola

In addition to taking care of the visual and graphic aspect, we also thought of a structure that would make the AISA Lombardy site a valuable tool for:

  • Allow anyone affected by ataxic syndromes to retrieve useful information and contacts in a few clicks
  • To testify to the Association’s transparency
  • Invite as many people as possible to do their part through donations

The final site is thus composed of these main sections:

  • Events – A collection of initiatives in which visitors can participate
  • Donations – Included here are the invitation to donate 5×1000, the possibility of making money transfers with PayPal, and related reports and transparency documents to certify the purposes for which the money raised is used
  • Membership – Members make a major contribution to funding projects and research. Isola was also involved in the development of the AISA membership card for 2021.
  • Media – In this section we have collected interviews and podcasts to learn more about the reality
  • Projects – To publicize all the activities of the ODV
  • Blog – Updated with news and useful information
  • Read the Bylaws – To learn about the founding document that explains the principles, values and purposes of the Association

The creation of the website for ODV AISA Lombardia

For the ODV AISA Lombardy website, we thought of a third-level domain that would maintain the link with theNational Association and clearly identify the regional section. In this way we repositioned the image of the Lombardy division while preserving the link with the AISA Italy platform and remaining open to future prospects.

In particular, should the national situation appreciate this redesign, each region will be able to create its own third-level domain in which to make its personal initiatives explicit. Instead, the national site will retain the general domain and will be the collector of the foundational and common features of each regional section.

At last we present to you the website of AISA Lombardy: a user friendly, simple and effective portal, capable of associating the serious and important issues of ataxic syndromes with a feeling of hope for the future and confidence in research.
