Goals

We were responsible for creating the corporate logo for Numaco AG, a Swiss company specializing in the development of software for industrial labeling and automation. With a background in multinational corporations and Big Tech, Numaco AG offers advanced software consulting, custom software for industrial automation, and provides industrial labels and rolls, supporting its customers at every stage of the production process.

The main requirement of the project was based on:

Logo redesign, to innovate and strengthen market recognition.
Defining a fresh and professional new identity that would convey the company’s strengths.

The creative process that enabled the development of the corporate logo for Numaco AG

The challenge was to create a minimal and modern logo that would convey character and seriousness to the brand.

The initial study consisted of several stages, during which we developed several graphic proposals, which enabled us to achieve a final form in line with the client’s request.

The work was distributed into 3 main key moments:

1. Market research

Initially, we conducted market research aimed at identifying the qualities of the business and its positioning. The analysis of recurring graphic traits in the target industry allowed us to define the values on which to build Numaco's new image.

2. Concept definition

Next, we focused on defining the new look to be given to the logo, exploring different solutions and innovative languages.

3. Final appearance of the logo

In the final step we devoted ourselves to the actual morphology, delving into the choice of the most suitable color palettes consistent with the brand personality.

Modern and clean design

The final form, represents the initial of the enterprise through a creative and eye-catching composition.

In fact, the unique design is based on the principles ofGestalt law, according to which the eye perceives shapes based on negative spaces.

In this case, the letter N emerges immediately while being defined only by the surrounding elements, making it both simple and interesting.

Dynamic variants and industrial palettes

The main color, chosen to represent the soul of the brand, is a shade of blue that lends authority and competence.

Then, we developed several variations of the same logo, which can make it adaptable to multiple contexts.

Consistent mock-up and brand book

Finally, we made different mock-ups with which to show the effective versatility of the logo in different applications, online and offline.
